1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing this website or booking any service with MDNotary4Us, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or services.

2. Services Provided

MDNotary4Us provides mobile and in-office notary, FD-258 ink fingerprinting, apostille and document authentication support, I-9 employment verification, loan signing, and business compliance services in Maryland. We are commissioned notaries and designated agents — not attorneys. We do not provide legal advice, draft legal documents, or interpret the legal effect of any document.

3. Notary Responsibilities & Limitations

  • We verify the identity of signers using valid, government-issued photo identification.

  • We witness signatures and complete notarial certificates in accordance with Maryland law.

  • We do not determine whether a document is correct, complete, or legally sufficient for your purpose.

  • We reserve the right to decline a notarization if identification cannot be verified, the signer appears unwilling or coerced, or the request is unlawful.

4. Client Responsibilities

  • Provide valid, unexpired government-issued photo identification at the appointment.

  • Present documents in their required form and do not sign them before the appointment unless instructed.

  • Provide accurate, complete information when booking and during the appointment.

  • Be present and competent to sign at the time of notarization

5. Appointment, Fees & Payment

Appointment availability, fees, and any travel charges are disclosed before booking. Payment is due at the time of service unless otherwise arranged. Cancellations and refunds are governed by our Refund Policy.

6. Mobile Services

Mobile service is offered for qualifying services and locations at our discretion. Travel fees, service areas, and availability vary by appointment. We are not liable for delays caused by traffic, weather, or access issues beyond our control, but we will communicate promptly if a delay occurs.

7. Accuracy of Information

We make reasonable efforts to ensure information on this website is accurate and current, but we do not warrant that all content is error-free or applicable to your specific situation. Service requirements vary by receiving agency and jurisdiction.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including text, logos, graphics, and design — is the property of MDNotary4Us and may not be reproduced without permission.

9. Third-Party Links & Services

We may link to third-party schedulers (such as Square) and screening providers (such as Checkr). We are not responsible for the practices or content of third-party services. Use of third-party services is subject to their own terms.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, MDNotary4Us is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Maryland.

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
